A Service Dog?

At first, my reaction to the idea was surprise and amused denial, but as the conversation has progressed I’ve come to see it as an incredible opportunity. This is something that I’ve discussed with my doctors, agonized over privately, talked about with friends and family, completely abandoned, and returned to repeatedly for months. Adopting and utilizing a service dog, it should be obvious, is not a decision I have approached lightly.

2016 Republican Presidential Candidates

Looking at the candidates for the Republican nomination for President is like sifting through the broken and discarded fragments of reject crayons in a pre-K arts and crafts classroom. Sure, there appear to be a few bright and shining colors lurking amongst the rancid baby food greens and doodoo browns, but on closer inspection even these turn out to be nothing more than useless stubs of tapioca mauve hiding inside a day glow cyan wrapper.

Essential Principles of Design

What is design? And who are designers? Quite frankly, what does any of that matter if you’ve got a copy of Photoshop? I want to talk about this and share with you three essential ideas I think every designer has to understand to produce good work. Good design doesn’t grow on trees, it takes years of practice and endless iteration.

A Single Black Labrador
