Honestly, life without Facebook is no different than life with Facebook. The apocalypse scenario you’re imagining isn’t real, and I certainly haven’t fallen into a hole in which no one can contact me. In fact, I’d say life is a little better.
My first time at DPAC since moving to Durham, I was very excited to see the show. And because I haven’t been to many live theatre productions since college, I jumped at the chance to give this story another try. I’m glad I did.
This year Jake and I decided to spend the holiday with friends here in North Carolina rather than trek to Alabama or Virginia, as is the norm. Up in Rougemont a friend of ours hosts at his house and many more friends come from as far away as Colorado and California for the weekend. This year there were 22 of us under one roof, three turkeys, and one salted ham.
