Shameless Self Promotion

I don’t have much to share today—actually, that’s not true at all, but I have to spend the time doing my taxes instead of writing blog posts—but I do want to take a moment to shamelessly publicize some recent awards.

This week I received word that a project I produced last year won two creative awards, taking home bronze and gold placements in the Horizon Interactive Awards and Hermes Creative awards, respectively!

The piece was a pilot for the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy Foundation promotional campaign highlighting some of the spin off enterprises that found their start at the school. For this project we focused on ChemoGLO, the product of two of our researchers which found a solution to the problem of chemotherapy drug contamination on clinical surfaces—something that can cause devastating health consequences to for health workers and family members of patients in the clinic.

I’m really excited about this and am looking forward to continuing the campaign in the coming year!
